The compressed portable oxygen generators usually have to be pulled on a cart

January 18th, 2011 | Uncategorized | No Comments »

The compressed portable oxygen generators usually have to be pulled on a cart made for the tank behind the individual, which can get in the way of activities. The liquid system can be carried by a strap under the arm or even attached to the body with some extremely lightweight systems.

The liquid portable oxygen systems are also safer than the compressed systems in most cases since the compressed oxygen tanks are under high pressure and can explode if they are dropped. Both systems have to be refilled at some point by a professional, but the liquid system allows individuals to have a reservoir at home to fill the tank out of and only fill the reservoir once a month or so.

Portable oxygen generators come in two basic types – liquid or compressed oxygen systems. There are advantages to each, although the PVC pipe seems to be the most lightweight and convenient system to use on the market today. Both systems allow the individual to transport a lightweight container of oxygen with them, which they use through a mask or a nasal cannula. Both systems can provide high levels of oxygen to the individual and supply it for hours at a time.

Disadvantages of the oxygen generators

January 5th, 2011 | Uncategorized | No Comments »

Disadvantages include that oxygen generators cannot deliver oxygen at high flow rates, is affected by power surges and outages, and requires electricity.

By taking a careful look at each one of your options here, you are going to be able to best determine just which one is going to be right for you. You need oxygen to live and so of course you want to make sure, if you require an extra oxygen supply, that you are going to have it delivered to yourself in the best, most efficient way possible.

For a PVC pipe there is the option of an oxygen concentrator system. A few of the advantages include that it requires only minimal maintenance, does not need to be refilled which offers more convenience, and it provides an unlimited oxygen supply.

determine be best oxygen generators in your case

December 21st, 2010 | Uncategorized | No Comments »

In order to properly determine which oxygen generators are going to be best in your case, you need to weigh out the advantages and disadvantages of each.

There are a few different aspects that you need to take into consideration when you are trying to decide on a portable oxygen generator. This way you can make sure that you are getting the right oxygen generator for you because after all everyone is different and so one may be better for you than another.

One of the most common portable oxygen generator types is the compressed oxygen. There are quite a few different advantages offered here, namely that the small, lightweight, portable tanks are able to be used for trips outside the home, and that  PVC pipe can be used to increase the time away from home. Now one of the main disadvantages of the compressed oxygen tanks is that since the oxygen is stored under pressure here, the tank can be hazardous if it is dropped.

Oxygen generators are a great addition to any business

With Membrane Nitrogen Generators, the annoyance of gas cylinders and liquid dewars is eliminated. Nitrogen is generated on-site in a continuous and reliable manner that requires only a supply of compressed air. Oxygen generators
are a great addition to any business as they produce a continuous supply of gaseous nitrogen. These compact units are ideally suited for low-flow applications that use high-pressure gas cylinders or dewars of nitrogen.

If additional nitrogen demand appears in the future, one of the great things about membrane generators is that with their modular design in most cases the supply of gas can be simply and cost effectively expanded by adding membrane modules to an existing system.

If your business could benefit from a nitrogen generator, it is strongly recommended to start looking into nitrogen generators as they are extremely productive and reasonable. One type of generator in particular that your business may benefit from is the PVC pipe. Nitrogen gas generators come in various types in order to accommodate individual business’ needs.

Non-Cryogenic Nitrogen Generators And Methods Of Use

This nitrogen generator relates to gas generators and methods for their use. In some embodiments, the invention relates to devices and methods of generating a gas enriched in a specific component. In other embodiments, the devices are configured to pressurize and regulate the temperature of atmospheric air prior to passing said air through a selectively permeable gas membrane. In further embodiments, a device is also configured to preheat said selectively permeable gas membrane.

Inert gases such as nitrogen are utilized in many industrial processes. The relative low cost and significant abundance of nitrogen as compared to other inert gases makes it particularly attractive for such applications. PSA nitrogen generator is particularly attractive for use in industrial well drilling, for example, in oil and natural gas drilling applications. Thus, there is a need for nitrogen generators that allow for maximum nitrogen generating capacity while also allowing for ease of transport and relocation to both on- and off-shore drilling operations.
In some embodiments, the VPSA oxygen generator relates to a device comprising: i) a first compressor configured to compress feed air into a first compartment providing compressed air at a first elevated temperature at a first elevated pressure; and ii) a membrane bank comprising a selectively permeable PSA oxygen generator configured to receive said compressed air at a second elevated pressure below said first elevated pressure and configured to filter said compressed air providing a component enriched gas; iii) a second compressor configured to compress said component enriched gas into a second compartment at a second elevated pressure. In further embodiments, said component is nitrogen gas.

In other embodiments, the nitrogen generator relates to a method of generating a component enriched gas comprising: a) providing: i) atmospheric air; ii) a membrane bank comprising a casing covering selectively permeable gas membranes; iii) a first compartment wherein said first compartment is temperature regulated; and iv) compressor configured to compress gas into a second compartment; b) compressing said atmospheric air into said first compartment so as to create compressed air; c) cooling said first compartment; d) reducing pressure such that said compressed air moves through said selectively permeable gas membranes providing a component enriched gas. In further embodiments, said component is nitrogen gas. In further embodiments, said first compartment is temperature regulated by a hydraulic coolant system. In further embodiments, said compressed air is above 10 and below 1000 psig.

Nitrogen generator for wine or champagne preservation

Nitrogen generator for wine or champagne preservation

A nitrogen generator for generating nitrogen rich gas from ambient air for a wine or champagne preservation and dispensing apparatus having a housing for holding at least one wine or champagne container, said nitrogen generator comprising:

The present PSA nitrogen generator relates in general to an apparatus for preserving and dispensing wine or champagne and in particular to a nitrogen generator for the apparatus. One or more wine or champagne bottles may be stored in the apparatus for preservation and future use by a wine or champagne consumer.
Millions of people throughout the world drink wine and champagne. Numerous types of wine and champagne are produced in many countries throughout the world. Most wine and champagne are distributed to consumers in bottles. Wine and champagne bottles are usually sealed with a cork to prevent exposure to the air and to preserve the wine or champagne. Consumers of wine or champagne may drink an entire bottle, a significant portion of a bottle or only one glass of wine or champagne. Some consumers may drink a glass of wine a day while others may only drink one glass a week.
Wine begins to oxidize(VPSA oxygen generatorwhen it comes in contact with air and more specifically, with the oxygen present in the air. For a short period of time, oxygen and the process of oxidation benefit wine. With many types of wine, it is recommended to let the wine “breathe” before drinking. Breathing or exposing wine to ambient air for a short time allows a small amount of oxidation to induce the release of certain volatile compounds in the wine, which wine drinkers find to have a desirous effect on the wine’s taste. Continued nitrogen generator, however, eventually degrades every type of wine. To slow the degradation of the wine, a majority of wine is stored and preserved in bottles that are sealed with a cork or similar sealing device. However, uncorking or opening a wine bottle generally initiates the beginning of the end of a wine’s useful or tasteful life. Red wines often degrade faster than white wines. Sweeter white wines tend to last longer, or degrade slower, than other white wines.

High efficiency nitrogen generator

High efficiency nitrogen generator

A process and apparatus is disclosed for highly efficient nitrogen generator product in a single column arrangement. Oxygen-enriched liquid from a distillation column is partially vaporized to form a liquid and a vapor phase. The liquid is vaporized in a second reboiler/condenser and thereafter the vapor expanded to provide process refrigeration. The vapor portion having higher nitrogen content is compressed and returned to the distillation column for higher overall nitrogen recovery.

Numerous processes for the PSA nitrogen generator from air are known in the art. Where the primary product is nitrogen, single column processes for the separation of air at cryogenic conditions utilizing an oxygen-enriched stream for expansion and refrigeration for the process is well known.

One such basic process and apparatus for the generation of nitrogen using waste oxygen-enriched stream expansion is described in U.S. In this basic process, compressed dried feed air with impurities removed is cooled to near the dew point and fed to the lower part of a single distillation column wherein it is separated into a nitrogen-enriched stream at the top of the column and an oxygen-enriched stream at the bottom of the column.

Another modification of the basic single column Nitrogen generator for coal mine is disclosed in U.S. In this process, oxygen-enriched liquid is withdrawn from the bottom of the single distillation column and expanded into the reboiler/condenser to provide for condensation of nitrogen-enriched vapors which in turn are returned as reflux to the top of the distillation column.

The present nitrogen generator provides for a process carried out under cryogenic conditions in an PSA oxygen generator providing for an efficient recovery of nitrogen from air. In the process of the present invention, a gaseous feed stream is rendered free of impurities, compressed, dried, and cooled, and thereafter, delivered to a feed point in a distillation column. In the distillation column, a nitrogen-enriched vapor is formed at the top, and an oxygen-enriched liquid at the bottom of the column.

How PSA Nitrogen Generator can save energy?

How PSA Nitrogen Generator can save energy?
HowPSA Nitrogen Generator can save energy? This is all about them. Global warming in this dirty world, we are not alone who is how to save our world, looking for energy conservation. Our neighbors industrialists and large organizations are on this matter to save energy and protect the environment. This is the so-called "carbon footprint", then I can say that it is today’s motto.
Recycling is an important phenomenon which can save us money and energy both. To be very true, we’ll have to respond on micro as well as macro level. Let’s take Aluminum as an example. Many researches showed that recycling of Aluminum can save up to 95% of energy and resources as compared to make it from scratch or raw material. Glass manufacturing take 30% more resources if produced from raw material but we can save this 30% by recycling crushes used glass.
Membrane nitrogen generator and the VPSA oxygen generator can be used to obtain an effective way of nitrogen. In the past, nitrogen transport can only be in a liquid form. It is needed to be pressurized and cooled nitrogen to very low temperatures and all proceedings in the energy heap. PSA Nitrogen Generator and Membrane Gas Generators eliminate this procedure and save us all that energy. In fact Nitrogen Generators cut out that energy consuming process entirely. Nitrogen generator only need source of compressed air which is renewable resource to make Nitrogen Gas. Nitrogen Generators only need compressed air to be fed, then it PSA Oxygen Genertor and other molecules are trapped, Nitrogen then is being pushed into a storage tank.  These PSA and Membrane Nitrogen Gas Generators are most cost effective way to produce Nitrogen Gas. These Generators can be marked as greener as they only borrow Nitrogen from air. It is so simple procedure because the remaining substance like oxygen goes back into air without damaging anything around us. These cryogenic air separation also eliminate the handling of large tankers because no nitrogen is needed in liquid form.
